Job summary

Midwest Valve Services, a Novaspect company, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced team. The role serves as the shop's final quality checkpoint, ensuring all repair work meets MVS standards before release to customers.

The QC Inspector verifies matchmarking, cleanliness, paint/coating requirements, and completes ARMR documentation at every stage, from Incoming Inspection to Testing, and issues release approvals after final inspection.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associates Degree in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming valves and actuators for correct identification, condition, documentation, and scope.
• Confirm orientation, fail position, and proper matchmarking before disassembly.
• Ensure disassembly, inspection, dimensional verification, and reassembly follow procedures and codes.
