Job summary

Actalent is seeking an engineering professional to support valve products used in oil & gas, refining, industrial, and process control applications. The role combines product design, valve sizing, technical problem-solving, and manufacturing support while working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

You will size valves, prepare engineering drawings and BOMs, and assist with ECRs/ECNs and documentation.

Qualifications

Experience performing valve sizing calculations and selecting appropriate products.
Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into engineering solutions.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality and supply chain.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and valve selection recommendations for customer applications.
Perform valve sizing calculations in accordance with API 520 and ANSI/ISA S75.01 standards.
Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and product documentation using SolidWorks.
Process engineering changes (ECRs/ECNs) and support product configuration management.
Partner with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve design and production challenges.
Support product development, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop assembly, testing, and manufacturing procedures.
Provide technical training and support to internal teams.
