Job summary

US364 Valvtechnologies, LLC is seeking a Painter Helper for the day shift to support valve manufacturing operations in Houston, TX. You will perform painting, sandblasting, priming and finishing tasks, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning and prepping valves, applying coatings, operating a blast cabinet and forklift as needed, and maintaining a clean work area. At least 2 years painting or sandblasting experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years painting or sandblasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Strives to meet production schedules without sacrifice to quality or health and safety standards
• Clean and wipe down valves
• Tape all ID tags and lever
• Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves
• Prime valves and let dry
• Paint valves and let dry
• Remove all tape and blow off valves making sure they are free of dust and grit
• Clean lever and place valve on pallet
• May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
• Operate Forklift when needed
• Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts
