Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Willingness to work overtime and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust valve guide compacting presses and furnace.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections for product specifications.
  • Read routers and production schedules for dimensions, tolerances, and parts counts.
  • Record inspection data and monitor quality using measurement tools.
  • Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
  • Load/unload furnaces; operate overhead hoists as needed.
  • Analyze scrap and nonconforming parts to determine causes.
  • Follow TPM routines and perform equipment cleaning.
