Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; metric system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Operates valve seat insert presses and furnaces as described.
• Reads routers and production schedules for product specs.
• Records inspection data using logs and computer systems.
• Monitors temperatures, cycle times, pressures and equipment settings.
• Ensures safety rules and quality management systems are followed.
