Job summary

Jasper Engine Exchange, Inc. is hiring for a valve body disassembly associate. You will disassemble valve bodies, clean parts, and prep for reassembly using drills, burnishers, screwdrivers and mallets. This hands-on role starts at $20.00 per hour and includes on-the-job training.

Work is Monday through Friday, with opportunities for wage increases and benefits after a short probation period. Join our 100% Associate-Owned team and grow your mechanical skills in a supportive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Stand or walk an 8–10 hour shift.
• Proficient use of handheld tools such as gauges, drills, screwdrivers and mallets.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble valve bodies and clean component parts.
• Prep valve bodies for reassembly.
• Operate tools such as drills, burnishers and light hand tools as part of the process.

Crawford – Valve Body Disassembly Job Overview: The Associate would be responsible for disassembling the valve bodies, cleaning the component parts, and prepping the valve bodies for reassembly by using tools such as drills, burnishers and light tools such as screw drivers and mallets.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 15lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx.…8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as gauges, drills, screw drivers and mallets.
• Standing: Frequently
• Walking: Occasionally
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Salary and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.00
