Job summary

VanZandt Controls is seeking a Production Technician for its Odessa, TX location. You will build and repair valves and actuators while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies.

The role reports to the Production Manager and requires reliability and a willingness to grow product knowledge related to VanZandt products. Training is provided and ongoing development plans are available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with valve actuation and/or control valves is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to configure, calibrate and commission digital equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Must be self-motivated and have a willingness to grow your product knowledge in relation to VanZandt products, their functionality and use.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal staff to provide technical assistance with our VanZandt Controls supplied valves, actuators, and control products
• Perform in-house repairs of valves, actuators and controls
• Work with other production technicians
• Operate a forklift (training will be provided)
• Other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies

Position

Production Technician

This position will be based at our Odessa, TX location. In this position you will build and repair different types of valves and actuators. The Production technician reports directly to the Production Manager.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

This position will build and repair different types of valves and actuators. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies. Other duties as assigned. Regular and reliable attendance.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
