Job summary

Weir is seeking a Production Team Member for valve assembly in our onsite Florida facility. The role involves operating and setting up molding machines, assembling valves, and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced environment.

You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and monitor production to meet safety and quality standards. Overtime opportunities and a full-time schedule are available in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Safe operation of tools and equipment in valve assembly and machine operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment.
• Experience with materials handling or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and ability to adhere to scheduled hours and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, operate, and maintain molding machines used in valve production, ensuring configurations meet specifications.
• Assembly & Quality Control: Assemble valves and components, cut shafts, paint, set stroke, and rebuild cylinders per quality standards.
• Technical Interpretation: Read blueprints and diagrams to guide assembly and machine setup.
• Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Monitor machine operations and promptly resolve production issues.
