Weir in Florida is seeking a Production Team Member- Plastics to join the onsite day shift. You will support production by pouring urethane into molds, lining pump parts, and running line machinery with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must-haves: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience with injection molding or plastics molding processes.
• Ability to operate machinery in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Nice-to-haves: Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and handle tooling safely.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) in manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Pouring urethane into molds, lining pump parts, and operating production line machinery with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Quality Control: Monitor the production line to identify and remove faulty products.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain machinery, troubleshoot molding problems, assist with molds and cores.
• Workplace Organization: Keep a clean and safe workstation and production floor.
• Team Collaboration: Work independently and as part of a team, participate in on-the-job training.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel; primarily onsite at the Townley facility.
• Safety First: Commit to zero-harm culture and safe operations.
