You will drive margin improvement, growth initiatives, and profitability in the Chemicals/Nylon Chain/EP sectors, leveraging a proven track record in strategy, leadership and PMP-like project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience within the Specialty Chemical, Polymer or Management Consulting field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science or similar.
• Proven Business Strategy Formulation.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Previous experience within Sales, Business Development, Marketing or Product Management in the Chemical/Polymer industry.
• Project Management (PMP) certification or demonstrated project leadership skills.

Position Overview

Ascend's Chief Value Office is seeking a strategic, creative, and passionate person with experience in the Chemicals/Nylon Chain/EP fields capable of driving key major projects for Ascend. This critical role will report to the Value Office Director will lead cross-functional teams that will be broad based and from many disciplines. This individual will be expected to make presentations to the senior management of the company and recommend the path to go forward. This group drives value across commercial and productivity, to an overall EBIDTA improvement for Ascend.

Key Responsibilities

Open to candidates based near Houston, TX, Chocolate Bayou, TX, Pensacola, FL, or any Ascend site location.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience within the Specialty Chemical, Polymer or Management Consulting field.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science or similar.
• Proven Business Strategy Formulation.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Previous experience within Sales, Business Development, Marketing or Product Management in the Chemical/Polymer industry.
• Project Management (PMP) certification or demonstrated project leadership skills.
