Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level financial reports, performance scorecards, and analytical dashboards to provide clear visibility into spending, forecast accuracy, and investment outcomes.
  • Partner with business, finance, technology, and operational leaders to develop business cases, assess investment opportunities, and formulate strategic funding recommendations.
  • Identify, quantify, and monitor the expected financial and operational value of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between investment commitments and anticipated business outcomes.
  • Establish and improve processes for measuring benefits realization, tracking expected versus actual results, and reporting on value delivered.
  • Support portfolio governance activities, including investment prioritization, funding reviews, financial evaluations, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and maximize returns.
  • Communicate portfolio performance, investment assessments, financial forecasts, and realized value to senior leadership and key stakeholders through clear, actionable presentations.
  • Exercise independent judgment when addressing complex financial and operational challenges, ensuring financial decisions support broader organizational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial operations, value management frameworks, reporting processes, and portfolio oversight practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, operations, or a related field, or at least seven years of relevant experience in healthcare, finance, operations, strategy, or portfolio management.
  • Five or more years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or business operations.

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and coordinating stakeholders across business, technology, finance, and operational teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling, data analysis, and executive-level presentation development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex financial information into practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations confidently to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
