HDR is seeking a Value Engineering/Project Risk Management Intern to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The intern will gain real-world experience, assist with workshop prep, and support multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines.

As part of HDR's employee-owned culture, you will engage with mentors, participate in workshops, and travel to attend sessions. This internship offers exposure to risk analysis, project coordination, and client-facing activities within a dynamic

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Familiarity with software packages related to engineering field.

Responsibilities

Gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs.
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Perform assignments under supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
Work with VE and Risk Leads in workshop preparation and information generation.
Provide technical editing support of workshop deliverables.
Engage in client-attended value engineering and risk analysis workshops.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, architects, cost estimators and stakeholders.
Travel will be required to attend workshops.
Perform other duties as needed.
