Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in The Villages, FL, seeks a Primary Care Physician to join the Eastport Clinic. You will deliver outpatient care, focus on health maintenance and disease prevention, and maintain medical histories and records while coordinating with specialists as needed.

You will report to the Associate Medical Director, work onsite 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm), see about 12–14 patients daily, and participate in a senior-focused care model designed to address social

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine (MD/DO) is required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment (or willingness to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Focus on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain medical history and medical records; refer patients to specialists.
• Influence clinic department's strategy; make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues.
