Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a Network Reimbursement Analyst to create claims and reimbursement analytics for fee-for-service and value-based contracting. You will own at least one setting’s reimbursement program (inpatient, outpatient, surgery center or professional) and develop reporting and dashboards for internal teams and network providers.

Qualifications

• Degree in an analytic discipline such as Health Informatics, Math, Stats, Biostatistics, Engineering, Accounting, Science.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, empirical research, or healthcare informatics.
• Experience with statistical software (SAS, SPSS) preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
