Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a Network Performance Manager to develop strategic relationships with healthcare organizations and drive value-based performance initiatives.

You will manage collaborations with physicians and aggregators, analyze data to inform action plans, and lead initiatives that improve quality and cost efficiency within a value-based network framework. The role requires strong communication, executive presentation skills, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in healthcare industry with health data analysis and network management.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong consultation and influencing skills with multiple levels of an organization.
• Clear written and verbal communication; capable of preparing and delivering executive-level presentations.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset; able to work with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with health care organizations, physicians, aggregators, and stakeholders to drive action plans and value-based outcomes.
• Lead and support committees and meetings to review value-based contract performance and compliance.
• Negotiate value-based contracts with health care organizations in line with Wellmark guidelines.
• Execute new value-based models or changes to existing models with partner organizations.
• Assess external environment and contracting trends to inform decision-making.
• Serve as liaison on value-based contract issues and align with network payment strategy.
• Support corporate initiatives related to engagement, quality, and efficiency of care.
