Job summary

Centene is seeking a Senior Manager of Value-Based Programs in Kentucky to build and manage strategic partnerships between the health plan and provider networks, advancing value‑based care initiatives and improving member outcomes.

You will act as the subject‑matter expert on VBP design, reporting, and financial methodologies, deliver training, manage the VBP contract portfolio, and translate provider performance data into actionable executive insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of managed care or provider relations experience.
• Project management experience in medical group, IPA, or health plan setting.
• Executive level exposure and ability to influence outcomes and drive performance.
• Ability to synthesize complex issues across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in HEDIS/Quality measures, cost and utilization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships between the health plan and provider networks.
• Act as the VBP SME by providing guidance on program design, reporting tools, performance metrics, and financial methodologies.
• Deliver training, education, and ongoing support to provider organizations and health plan teammates.
• Manage and maintain the VBP contract portfolio and support payment execution.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets using Excel and dashboards to identify performance trends and opportunities.
• Develop and deliver executive-level presentations translating provider performance data into insights.
• Drive VBP success through process improvement and best-practice playbooks.
• Travel locally 4 days a week, or as required.
