Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company in Solon, IA is seeking a Value-Added Services team member to support the VAS group with precise handling of materials and orders.

Primary duties include wire cutting, order kitting, loading and unloading, operating MHE such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring accurate processing with RF scanners. This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• 1+ years warehouse experience; 1+ years wire cutting/CNC/machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire cutting using reel-to-reel and coiler machines.
• Conduct order kitting and sub-assembly per customer specs.
• Set up and perform parallels and load/unload materials.
• Receive, pick, relocate, and store wire and pipe; load pipe on trucks for delivery.
• Complete required certifications for pulling heads as needed.
• Assist with RF-scanned warehousing tasks: pick, pack, ship, receive, cycle counts, audits.
• Coordinate with supervisor on value-added services activities and outcomes.
• Proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Operate MHE including forklifts and reach trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe warehouse environment.
