Job summary

Colliers is seeking an experienced MAI-certified appraisal leader to originate and manage client relationships, oversee cross-geography teams, and allocate appraisal assignments. You will supervise trainees and deliver comprehensive valuation reports for corporate clients, REITs, and funds.

The role requires a strong command of Excel, Argus, and appraisal methodologies, with emphasis on client service and collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

  • MAI designation required.
  • 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus completion of advanced appraisal class curriculum (preferred).
  • Strong communication and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.
  • Manage team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Allocation of appraisal assignments.
  • Supervision of trainee appraisers.
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.).
  • Apply expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of analyses.

In this role, you will…
  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.

  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.

Salary

Colliers carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience required for this role. The candidate’s pay is 100% commission - typically participating in a 35-50% commission split based on production levels. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience required for this role.

Benefits
  • Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability.
  • Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match.
  • Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave, along with up to 4-12 weeks of paid parental leave depending on eligibility criteria.

Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
