Job summary

Houlihan Lokey, Inc. invites a Financial Analyst to join its Financial and Valuation Advisory (PV) practice in a fast-paced environment.

You will research, analyze financial markets, build complex models, and prepare client deliverables on illiquid debt and equity valuations. You will support portfolio valuation teams for hedge funds, private equity funds, and BDCs; engage in due diligence, client discussions, and contribute to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or similar majors with a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
• Must be able to start July 2027
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of financial statements; valuation theory; Excel modeling; communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Support FVA portfolio valuation teams and provide valuations of illiquid debt and equity securities held by hedge funds, private equity funds, and BDCs
• Develop complex financial models and draft client deliverables
• Present analyses and conclusions; interact with clients on active engagements
• Assist with marketing initiatives for prospective and existing clients
