Our community is conveniently located on Kelley Parkway in Orono. We are just a short drive from downtown Wayzata and Long Lake, easily accessible from US-12 / I-394. Position: Cook/Chef
Hourly Wage: $17.50 - $22.50 hourly, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (requirement: must work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
In this position,you willbe responsible forpreparingfoodin accordance withprescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Duties include:
Prepare and serve food and mealsin accordance withplanned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct andassistin cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors,dishes,and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus aremaintainedand followedin accordance withestablished procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma orequivalent.
Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’sfamilies,and employees.
