Job summary

ZT Systems in the United States is seeking a Validation Lab Manager to lead a team of technicians within the Validation Engineering group. You will plan the physical hosting of validation racks, coordinate with Engineering and other teams, and drive efficiency in lab operations.

The role requires a BS in a technical discipline, 6+ years in engineering validation/test, and experience managing technical teams.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 6+ years of engineering validation and test experience.
• 0-2+ years managing technical teams.
• Experience within a computer hardware environment is preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of validation and testing of computer servers or storage appliances in a design and development environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage lab team to support Validation Engineering on multiple projects.
• Plan and manage physical hosting of validation racks; coordinate with Engineering and other teams.
• Develop and improve lab procedures and processes; address issues and risks.
• Coordinate budgets, purchase equipment, and roll out equipment and materials.
• Ensure lab can efficiently support validation needs; maintain inventory and calibration.
