ZT Group Intl, Inc. dba ZT Systems is seeking a Validation Lab Manager to oversee a team of technicians involved in several validation engineering projects. The successful candidate will manage the physical hosting of validation racks and ensure efficient lab operations.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 6+ years of engineering validation and test experience.
• 0-2+ years managing technical teams.
• Experience within a computer hardware environment preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of validation and testing of computer servers or storage appliances.
• Understanding of hardware and software interactions.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability.
• Understanding of speed as a competitive advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lab’s current needs and anticipate growth.
• Coordinate with management to manage budgets and purchase equipment.
• Ensure the lab supports validation needs efficiently.
• Work with engineers to improve procedures and processes.
• Facilitate effective communication across teams.
• Maintain equipment and tools within the lab.
• Ensure proper storage and accurate calibration of sensitive equipment.
• Perform quarterly audits and maintain ESD requirements.
• Ensure all engineering training is up to date.
• Coordinate with facilities to maintain lab security and safety.
