SiTime Corporation in Tempe, AZ offers a Validation Engineering Intern role focused on bench testing and data collection to ensure IC performance. You will collaborate with design engineers to run experiments and develop validation plans, with Python automation and bench setups.

Applicants currently enrolled in undergrad or grad engineering programs are welcome; knowledge of I2C/SPI, PLLs, PCB design, and lab automation helps; prior industry experience is a plus.

Formación

• Active enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
• Field of Study: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, RS232, UART, USB, CAN).
• Experience with schematic/design tools for mixed-signal PCB, preferably Allegro.
• PCB signal integrity tools like Hyperlynx and Ansys are a plus.
• Experience with PLLs and timing devices, synthesizers and buffers.
• One year of regular Python usage; knowledge of LabVIEW for automation is a plus.
• Excellent English communication in professional settings.

Responsabilidades

• Automate lab data collection and analysis using Python.
• Contribute to schematic design of high-speed signal PCBs.
• Debug and analyze failures in devices returned by customers.
• Develop and document bench testing platforms for device validation.
• Conduct work for timing products including synthesizers, buffers, and PLLs.
• Create and execute validation plans; report device performance.
