Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Validation Engineer - Wintel Server in Chandler, AZ for a 12+ month engagement.

The role focuses on validating Wintel server configurations, virtualization (VMware), and test automation using Python, JSON, PowerShell, and Ansible. You will design tests, support lab environments, and drive quality through Agile and JIRA processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Wintel OS servers and scripting in Python, JSON, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of cloud virtualization and orchestration/workflow virtualization.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage tests with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop testing for Wintel server configurations and environments.
• Support and maintain virtual testing labs and environments.
• Analyze requirements for testing and automation objectives; design tests, models, scripts and data sets.
• Manage defects during testing and produce exit-criteria reports.
• Navigate Windows OS and Office tools; document results and provide clear reports.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Validation Engineer - Wintel ServerPosition type: Full Time - Contract Duration: 12+ Months Location: Chandler, AZ

As a Validation Engineer - Wintel Server, you will: Looking for a Quality Engineer for Wintel server operating systems - configurations and VMWare virtualization technology as applied in cloud computing environments. Performs virtual testing lab support and maintenance. Performs technical requirements analysis for testing and test automation development objectives. Develops and plans testing conditions, test models, test scripts and test data sets during the Service Design stage of the service lifecycle and ensures adequate access in place for a successful test. Performs defect management during testing. Evaluates results against exit criteria and prepares summary reports. Expertise in Wintel OS server admin; highly effective working knowledge of Python, JSON, PowerShell, Ansible, and other scripting tools and capabilities. Proven working knowledge of cloud virtualization technologies, including an understanding of orchestration and workflow virtualization functionality. Strong working knowledge of service validation and testing process, Agile methodology, and JIRA management. Excellent communication skills and ability to understand customer-based requirements and expectations. Strong documentation skills. Highly effective at driving process improvement based on lessons learned analysis. Expertise in navigating/using Windows OS and folder structures; Microsoft Office and collaboration tools: Outlook, Teams, OneNote, Excel, etc.

Desired Qualifications Strong prioritization, problem solving, leadership, and team contributing skills, while able to work independently. Competent in DevOps CI/CD SDM workflow. Working knowledge of industry standard test management (Octane) and test automation tools, and related test automation enablers. Motivated outside the box thinker who doesn't settle for the obvious; must be a curious, analytical thinker. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Pay Range: $55/hr to $60/hr
