Job summary

10 BTI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer for Telematics Validation to design and execute validation plans for automotive infotainment and connectivity features.

You will analyze results, log data, and coordinate with design and QA teams to ensure issues are resolved and improvements are implemented. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with customers while managing test environments and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor's degree or 2 years of related experience.
  • Preferred degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
  • Proficient with MS Office for test reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the technical evaluation and proposals for engineering change proposals.
  • Coordinate communication with customers, design and QA teams.
  • Analyze test results and determine issue status in validation activities.
  • Develop and execute validation plans for automotive infotainment and telematics.
  • Manage test environments, logging, and reporting to stakeholders.

General Description

Network Engineer-Telematics Validation will construct and execute Automotive Infotainment / Telematics function validation plan and testing. Engineers must have communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with customers effectively. The testing scope includes connectivity test, lab test, and so on. The position requires the Network Engineer-Telematics Validation to analyze and determine issues, check the similar/same issue history, execute test plan, lab test, set test environment and parameters regarding network circumstance, logging, determine what the log shows, confirm whether the issue is cleared or remained, reporting, and communicate with the design team and QA team.

Essential Functions
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) is essential for creating test reports
  • Understand the system and sub-system specification
  • Understand customers validation feature requirements
  • Collaborate feasibility study with internal core development team
  • Communicate effectively with software design and validation teams to improve overall system performance
  • Prepare the technical evaluation and proposals for engineering change proposals
  • Responsible for communication with customer on design definition
  • Responsible for project management and project review with customers
  • Report manager whether test issues have been resolved
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours
  • Must have attention to detail and be self-motivated and responsible
Requirements
  • Associates/Bachelor Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience
  • Preferred degrees in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Communication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Cognitive Science
