A leading automotive company seeks a Validation Engineer specializing in powertrain control systems, focusing on both BEV and Fuel Cell projects. The role includes execution of DVP&Rs, root-cause analysis, and interaction with project leads to ensure high-quality testing outcomes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering with significant experience in powertrain validation.
The candidate will be responsible for the validation of production powertrain control modules, including hardware, software, and calibrations primarily in the BEV and Fuel cell arena with some legacy ICE projects. Validations include using both vehicles as well as the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation environment. The Engineer will execute DVP&Rs and test procedures, conduct initial root-cause analysis activities and raise issues for failures.Engineer will interface with Validation Project Chief all DVP&R results and open issues found. Should be a self-starter capable of leading in the areas of test formulation and implementation of testing strategies and processes (i.e. traceability from requirements to results, drive issue closure, etc.). While this position is intended to be supported out of CTC some remote work is also possible.
