Position Summary

Georgia Spa Company is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Valet Technician to provide professional hot tub and swim spa cleaning, water care, routine maintenance, and inspection services at customer homes.

The Valet Technician is responsible for maintaining customers' hot tubs and swim spas so they remain clean, properly balanced, safe, and ready to enjoy. This includes testing and balancing water chemistry, cleaning spas and components, inspecting equipment for potential concerns, replacing routine maintenance items, recommending needed products, and communicating professionally with customers.

Because many Valet customers receive recurring service, the Valet Technician plays an important role in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Customers should feel confident that their spa is being cared for by a knowledgeable professional who notices the details and takes ownership of their experience.

Valet Technicians work independently for much of the day and travel between customer homes in a company-provided vehicle. This position requires strong accountability, time management, attention to detail, customer service, and personal responsibility.

The goal of every Valet visit is simple: leave the customer's spa cleaner, properly balanced, professionally maintained, and ready for them to enjoy.

Valet Service Responsibilities

Perform scheduled recurring and one-time Valet services at customer homes.

Drain and refill hot tubs and swim spas when required.

Thoroughly clean the interior of hot tubs and swim spas.

Vacuum debris from spas.

Clean and wipe down spa shells.

Clean spa pillows and headrests.

Clean, rinse, and inspect filters.

Wipe down steps, cabinets, and exterior surfaces.

Remove debris from around the immediate spa area when appropriate.

Inspect water condition and clarity.

Test and balance water chemistry.

Add appropriate water-care products according to company procedures.

Inspect the overall condition of the hot tub or swim spa.

Identify visible leaks, damaged components, worn parts, or other potential concerns.

Complete all services according to Georgia Spa Company standards.

Leave the customer's spa area clean and organized after service.

Ensure gates, covers, and other customer property are returned to their proper condition before leaving.

Water Care Responsibilities

Valet Technicians are expected to develop a strong working knowledge of hot tub and swim spa water chemistry.

Responsibilities include:

Test water during each applicable Valet appointment.

Test and adjust pH.

Test and adjust alkalinity.

Monitor calcium hardness and other water conditions when applicable.

Identify cloudy, discolored, foaming, or otherwise problematic water.

Determine appropriate treatment according to company procedures.

Identify when a drain and refill may be necessary.

Recognize water conditions that may damage spa components.

Accurately measure and apply chemicals.

Follow manufacturer and company water-care procedures.

Educate customers on basic water care when appropriate.

Maintain accurate documentation of water testing and treatment.

Technicians should never guess when working with water chemistry. When uncertain, they are expected to contact management or an appropriate technical resource for assistance.

Every Valet appointment is also an opportunity to identify potential problems before they become larger repairs.

The Valet Technician will:

Visually inspect the spa during each visit.

Check for visible leaks or unusual water loss.

Inspect filters and recommend replacement when necessary.

Inspect pillows, covers, steps, and other accessories.

Observe pumps, jets, controls, lighting, and other components for obvious concerns.

Identify unusual sounds or operating conditions.

Recognize error codes or obvious equipment concerns.

Document potential Service issues.

Take photographs when necessary.

Notify the Service/Valet Coordinator or management when a Service Technician may be required.

Clearly communicate concerns to customers without attempting repairs outside the Technician's training or authority.

Help prevent small maintenance concerns from developing into larger customer issues.

Valet Technicians are not expected to perform repairs outside their training or authorization but are expected to recognize and report potential problems.

Customer Service

Valet Technicians frequently visit the same customers and are expected to develop professional, trusted relationships.

Responsibilities include:

Provide exceptional customer service.

Maintain customer confidentiality.

Respect customer property, gates, landscaping, pets, and outdoor living areas.

Represent Georgia Spa Company professionally at every customer location.

Responsibilities include:
