Job summary

Evolution Parking & Guest Services is seeking a Valet Ramp Captain to oversee valet operations, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional guest service at our New Orleans location. You will lead attendants, manage traffic flow, and support the Guest Service Manager while upholding company standards.

The role requires prior valet experience, at least two years in a leadership position, and a commitment to professional appearance and customer care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or relevant work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Understanding of general business practices including accounting, HR, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive guest relationships through consistent delivery of customer service to all guests, co workers and clients.
• Greet guests in a professional and friendly demeanor upon arrival and departure.
• Ensure valet attendants provide the highest level of customer service.
• Provide strong leadership and lead by example to enhance the teams performance.
• Monitor and maintain efficient traffic flow throughout the valet staging area.
• Supervise valet operations and resolve issues in the absence of the Guest Service Manager.
• Retrieve and park vehicles in designated areas cautiously.
• Follow appearance standards and approved uniform.
• Follow attendance standards as required by scheduling.
• Execute terms of the handbook and policies.
• Adhere to site safety and security procedures.
• Maintain clean, neat work environment around ramp valet desk and related areas.
• Ensure all keys are properly stowed in the key box.
• Participate in Crescendo Academy and Crescendo Leadership Development Programs.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Valet Ramp Captain will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of parking guest vehicles while delivering exceptional service that exceeds our customer and clients expectations This includes responding quickly to customers requests providing caring interactions with all guests leadership to other Valet staff and overall support to the Guest Service Manager

Essential Responsibilities

• Follow all appearance standards as set forth by Evolution Parking & Guest Services including complete approved pressed uniform
• Follow all attendance standards as set forth by Evolution Parking & Guest Services as required by the scheduling which may vary according to the needs of the location
• Execute all terms and conditions as set forth in the Evolution Parking & Guest Services Handbook and other policies and procedures
• Adhere to site specific safety and security procedures
• Maintain clean neat work environment including all surrounding areas of ramp valet desk wheelchairs parking area bell carts bell closet trash receptacles and ash urns
• Ensure all keys are properly stowed in the key box
• Participate in Crescendo Academy and Crescendo Leadership Developmental Programs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Required

• Associates Degree
• High School Diploma or GED required or relevant working experience
• Understanding of general business practices including accounting human resources and customer service

Minimum Experience Required

• Experience in valet parking
• Valid US Drivers License
• 2 years in a management position
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP
• Experience with Customer Service

• Strong customer service and client relationship skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong technology proficiency
• Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
