Daniel Island Golf Club is seeking an entry-level Valet/Driver for part-time shifts in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on first impressions, greeting members, and providing prompt, courteous service as part of a high-style private club environment.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds a valid driver's license with a clean history, and can operate in all weather conditions. Weekend availability is required to meet club demand and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history.
• Experience driving in various weather conditions.
• Punctual and dependable with weekend/holiday availability.
• Neat, well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus.
• Previous hospitality/driver experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding valet service to club members and guests.
• Park and retrieve vehicles with care and urgency.
• Assist with doors and loading/unloading luggage as needed for smooth traffic flow.

The Valet/Driver will make the first impression upon our members and guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the Club and local area. The Valet/Driver will provide exceptional service, anticipate member needs and manage all requests with a sense of urgency and will maintain a proactive approach to providing solutions.

****Must have availability Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday****

• Good knowledge of the Charleston and surrounding areas
• Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisors.
• Working as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workers.
• Ensure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
• Always being positive, showing enthusiasm, being humble, being thankful, and being respectful to all team members.

VALET

• Work with a sense of urgency to provide outstanding service to our members
• Carefully and respectfully park and retrieve automobiles for our members and guests
• Run to and from parking areas to retrieve vehicles in a timely manner
• Assist with door coverage at the club’s entrance
• Assists with opening of car doors and unloading/loading of luggage to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the valet area.
• Work outside in all types of weather

• Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands.

• Previous experience as a driver for a hospitality or private organization a plus.
• Be able to communicate clearly with members and guests.
• Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite and energetic.
