Job summary

Ultipro in Shenandoah, IA is seeking a courteous valet attendant to welcome patients and visitors at the hospital entrance. You will assist with entering and exiting vehicles, park and retrieve cars, and keep the valet area orderly and secure while complying with hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles when appropriate.
• Safely park and retrieve patient vehicles in designated parking areas.
• Issue valet claim tickets and document vehicle information accurately.
• Maintain control and accountability of keys per valet procedures.
• Inspect vehicles for existing damage and report concerns according to policy.
• Maintain an organized flow of traffic at the valet entrance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Provide directions and general information about hospital departments and entrances.
• Assist guests with mobility devices, wheelchairs, or medical equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet area.
• Report accidents, incidents, unsafe conditions, or security concerns immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, visitor, employee, and organizational information per HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
