Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Hospital Valet Attendant to greet patients and visitors, park and retrieve vehicles, and assist with safe, efficient guest arrival and departure at a healthcare facility.

You will handle keys, provide guidance, and maintain orderly valet operations while protecting guest privacy and property. Training will be provided for procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and pass an MVR check.
• Previous valet, hospitality, transportation, parking, healthcare support, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with patients and staff.
• Role requires prolonged standing and outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Receive, park, secure, and retrieve vehicles using designated routes and procedures.
• Safely operate passenger vehicles as qualified.
• Maintain custody of keys and tickets and release vehicles per procedures.
• Conduct brief visual inspections for pre-existing damage when required.
• Assist guests entering or exiting vehicles safely.
• Provide wheelchairs or coordinate assistance per facility procedures.
• Provide directions to entrances, departments, and services.
• Keep valet lanes, staging areas, and paths orderly and hazard-free.
• Report accidents, injuries, or incidents to supervisor and document.
• Protect confidential information and follow privacy and safety procedures.
• Work independently and with facility staff; complete orientation and training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

GENERAL PURPOSE:As a Hospital Valet Attendant, you will provide safe, professional valet and guest-support services at a healthcare facility. You will greet patients and visitors, receive and return vehicles, maintain control of keys and claim tickets, and help create a welcoming arrival and departure experience. In collaboration with BHC Healthcare leadership and authorized facility staff, you will support an orderly valet operation while protecting guest safety, privacy, and property.RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet patients, visitors, and guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.Receive, park, secure, and retrieve vehicles using designated routes, spaces, procedures, and speed limits.Safely operate passenger vehicles of different sizes and configurations that you are qualified and authorized to drive.Maintain accurate custody and control of keys, claim tickets, and vehicle-location information, and release vehicles only in accordance with established procedures.Conduct and document a brief visual inspection for noticeable pre-existing vehicle damage when required by site procedure.Assist guests with entering or exiting vehicles when requested and when the assistance can be provided safely and within established procedures.Provide wheelchairs or coordinate additional assistance in accordance with facility procedures; do not provide clinical care or patient transfers unless trained and authorized.Provide basic directions and help guests locate approved entrances, departments, and services.Keep valet lanes, vehicle staging areas, key-control areas, and pedestrian paths orderly and free of avoidable hazards.Immediately report accidents, injuries, vehicle damage, lost keys, unsafe conditions, and guest complaints to the appropriate supervisor and complete required documentation.Protect confidential information and follow BHC Healthcare and healthcare-facility privacy, safety, infection-prevention, emergency-response, and security procedures.Work independently and cooperatively with BHC Healthcare team members and authorized facility staff.Complete required orientation and training and perform other related duties as assigned.SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:At least 18 years of age.High School Diploma or GED preferred.Must maintain a valid driver's license, pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, and maintain a driving record that meets BHC Healthcare's driving and applicable insurance eligibility requirements throughout employment.Ability to safely operate the types of passenger vehicles accepted at the assigned facility.Previous valet, hospitality, transportation, parking, healthcare support, or customer-service experience preferred.Must meet applicable pre-assignment, onboarding, screening, orientation, and training requirements.Ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with patients, visitors, facility staff, and team members.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately manage keys, tickets, vehicle locations, and incident information.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.Reliable attendance and punctuality, including the ability to work assigned shifts based on operational needs.Ability to use job-related mobile devices, applications, or valet technology after training.Role requires prolonged standing and walking; frequent entry into and exit from vehicles; bending, reaching, and turning; and working outdoors in varying weather, traffic, and surface conditions.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
