Job Summary
Hang keys on the keyboard, file tickets accurately based on the corresponding numbers, occupy the valet office, greet guests, tear valet tickets, drive guests to the oversize lot with supervisor’s permission, and assist the Supervisor with relocation of company and guest vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Hang keys on the keyboard on the proper hook.
- Remove keys from the keyboard and match them to valet ticket numbers.
- File the valet tickets in the ticket rack provided.
- Maintain valet office cleanliness; sweep and wipe cabinets.
- Keep the valet office door closed when absent.
- Monitor area outside the valet office to ensure guests do not park their vehicle without leaving their keys with valet.
- Move luggage and/or contact a bell person for assistance.
- Pull luggage out of the luggage room for guests when a bellman is unavailable.
- Drive guests with oversized vehicles to the employee lot and return guests to their vehicles.
- Properly and safely use the man‑lift.

- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to competently hang keys on the correct hook.
- Ability to visually recognize numbers.
- Excellent verbal communication skills: instruct, listen, divert, persuade, speak clearly, and assist guests.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs., bend, crouch, kneel, push/pull, and drive a vehicle.
- Accurate reading, writing, math, clerical, memorization, problem‑solving, independent judgment, and decision‑making skills.
Additional Requirements
- Constant direct contact with guests.
- Fast‑paced work area requiring directing guests and answering questions.
- Work may be performed in confined areas and under various environmental conditions (hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit, brightly illuminated, moving objects, slippery surfaces, exposure to solvents/oils, fumes/odors, dirt/dust).
- Work requires knowledge and use of electrical, mechanical, and computer equipment and flame/heat‑generated devices.
- Shift work may include inside and outside, days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- May require walking up and down two flights of stairs at entry.
- Frequent repetitive use of hands with light/firm grasp; finger dexterity and vision acuity are required.
Performance Requirements
Must provide internal and external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication and observation skills, and maintain an easy‑going demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment. Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
