Job summary

Parkwell in Santa Monica is seeking a Parking Attendant to provide friendly guest service and safe, efficient vehicle parking. The role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles (including manual transmission), handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized lot.

Qualifications

• Proficient driving skills, including experience with manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with guests and address their needs.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers.
• Background in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner upon arrival.
• Efficiently park and retrieve vehicles while ensuring their safety.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking area.
• Assist guests with any inquiries regarding parking services or facility information.
• Provide valet parking services as needed, including operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle flow and ensure compliance with parking regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and service quality.
• Willing to work in our Santa Monica location for about 1 month and then permanently work at our Century Park East location (but may need to be a floater between these locations as needed).
