Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is hiring a Dispatcher/Cashier at The Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, FL. Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License Requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record if driving a company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location.
• Language Skills: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; ability to present information to customers and employees.
• Customer Service Skills: ability to respond positively to customer problems or complaints.
• Mathematical Skills: ability to perform basic arithmetic with money.
• Appearance: maintain neat, clean uniform.
• Other skills: ability to use clock, calculator or credit card machine to handle transactions.
• Other Attributes: adapt to changes and handle unexpected events.
• Physical Demands: must be able to sit/stand; use phone or radio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate parking and retrieval of guest vehicles by Valet Attendants.
• Secure and track all vehicle keys.
• Accept and process valet fees (if applicable).
• Inform customers of valet rates and provide directions.
• Respond to customer questions in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean area around the garage office.
• Be on time for scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a neat appearance in uniform.
