Job summary

Towne Park in Washington, DC is hiring a Guest Service Associate to deliver attentive, friendly and efficient hospitality to guests arriving and departing. You will park and retrieve vehicles, assist with luggage, and help guests with directions and local information.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. The position offers open availability, competitive hourly pay, tips, and benefits including insurance options and a 401k.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write standard English language.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees.
• Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
• Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable.
• Perform parallel parking.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a prompt and safe manner; assist with luggage handling.
• Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries; share information about local attractions and facilities.
• Explain parking rates and procedures; issue and collect claim checks; manage ticket information accurately.
• Maintain professionalism and a pleasant demeanor with guests and coworkers at all times.
