Job summary

AAA Parking in Atlanta is seeking a friendly valet attendant to deliver outstanding guest service in a premier hotel setting. You will greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide information on local attractions while maintaining professional appearance.

Responsibilities include safely parking and retrieving vehicles, protecting keys, and coordinating with hotel staff to ensure smooth arrivals and departures. This role requires reliability and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Previous valet, hospitality, parking, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and, preferably, manual-transmission vehicles.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and dependable, with a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry guest luggage and other items as needed.
• Ability to maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and handle guest vehicles, keys, and property responsibly.
• Ability to successfully complete any required background and driving-record checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and depart.
• Answer questions clearly and professionally.
• Open vehicle and hotel doors and assist guests with coats and luggage.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining, entertainment, and points of interest.
• Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
• Create a welcoming, memorable experience from arrival to departure.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain vehicle keys in a secure, organized manner.
• Represent AAA Parking and our hotel partner with professionalism.
• Coordinate smooth guest arrivals and departures with hotel staff.
• Communicate effectively with teammates during shifts.
• Support teammates during busy periods and events.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect guests, vehicles, keys, and team members.
• Report accidents, injuries, vehicle damage, or incidents to a supervisor.
• Conduct routine inspections of the valet area and equipment.
