Job summary

AAA Parking is seeking a Valet Attendant at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, GA. You will be the first and last contact for guests, greet arrivals, open doors, assist with coats and luggage, and provide information about hotel services.

You must maintain a neat, professional appearance, manage keys securely, and follow safety protocols while collaborating with hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures. 18+ and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
• Ability to stand 100% of the shift and meet physical requirements (lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds).
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Successfully pass a background and driving record check.
• Previous experience in hospitality or high-end customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all arriving and departing guests in a proper manner.
• Communicate and answer all customer questions clearly and professionally.
• Open car and hotel doors for guests as well as assist with coats and luggage.
• Offer information about the services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
• Fill out valet ticket properly and conduct vehicle damage check
• Retrieve and park vehicles for guests quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain keys in an organized and secure manner.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance at all times, adhering to AAA Parking's uniform and appearance standards.
• Ensure the valet area is clean, organized, and inviting.
• Work closely with the hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate valet operations.
• Support team members during busy periods or special events.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the security of guests and their vehicles.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine inspections of the valet area and equipment.
• Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Appearance: Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of our clients and AAA Parking.
