Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is hiring for a seasonal Bell/Valet position. You will assist guests with luggage, provide valet service, and help guests explore the resort while earning tips and enjoying mountain living.

Eligible employees gain access to on-mountain housing, ski privileges, and employee discounts. A valid driver's license and willingness to work varied shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to drive with a valid license for shuttle duties.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide parking services and safe transport for guests.
• Operate resort shuttle buses as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage and equipment.
• Support concierge by answering phones and guiding guests.
• Maintain daily checklists and track vehicle locations.
• Conduct pre-trip shuttle inspections and coordinate maintenance.
• Provide up-to-date resort information to guests.
• Communicate with lodging staff via two-way radios.
• Follow safety policies and participate in random drug testing.
• Present a professional image through uniform and guest interactions.
• Contribute to team success and support other departments as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide parking services for guest vehicles, including safe transport to designated parking areas and key management for efficient retrieval.


• Operate resort shuttle buses to transport guests and employees as needed, ensuring safe and timely service.


• Assist with guest luggage, including unloading vehicles, transporting items to rooms or lockers, and handling ski/golf equipment.


• Support concierge staff by answering phones, being accessible to guests, and offering information about resort amenities.


• Maintain daily procedure checklists, track vehicle locations, and complete assigned security tasks (e.g., locking doors).


• Conduct pre-trip shuttle inspections, arrange maintenance, and ensure cleanliness and safety equipment compliance.


• Provide resort information and literature to guests; maintain up-to‑date knowledge of resort operations.


• Communicate with lodging personnel using two-way radios and maintain organized, clean workstations and guest service areas.


• Adhere to safety policies, participate in random drug and alcohol testing, and demonstrate competence in vehicle operation.


• Present a professional image through uniform compliance and positive guest interactions.


• Contribute to overall team success by completing related duties and supporting other departments as needed.


• Driving: Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
