Job summary

USA Health is seeking a Hospital Valet Attendant to be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, physicians and staff at the hospital entrances. You will provide safe, courteous valet parking, greet guests, and assist with directions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include parking and retrieving vehicles, supporting patient transport needs, and maintaining traffic flow while following all safety, security, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience or ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with directions at hospital entrances.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Valet Attendant serves as a first point of contact for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff arriving at the hospital.


• In a fast-paced environment, the Valet Attendant provides safe, courteous, and efficient valet parking services while maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor.


• Responsibilities include greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with directions, supporting patient transport needs as appropriate, and ensuring traffic flow remains safe and unobstructed at hospital entrances.


• The Valet Attendant must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, maintain awareness of emergency vehicle access routes, and respond appropriately during high-volume and emergency situations while adhering to all hospital safety, security, and confidentiality standards.


• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements


• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards


• Regular and prompt attendance


• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required


• Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required


• Possession of a valid drivers license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.


• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
