VCU Health is seeking a Valet Attendant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the valet service, ensuring safety and efficiency for guests. You will provide parking and retrieval for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service in a high-energy environment while maintaining professional appearance standards.

As a supervisor, you will guide staff, manage scheduling, and handle inclement weather rotations and weekend events as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience using a computer and Microsoft Office applications and email/calendar.

Job description

The Valet Attendant Supr supervises the day-to-day operations of the valet service ensuring that it runs in a safe and efficient manner.

The Valet Attendant Supr provides personal vehicle parking and retrieval services for the parking guests while offering exceptional customer service in a high energy environment. This position maintains expected personal appearance standards.

The Valet Attendant Supr performs all maintenance and cleaning tasks necessary to maintain the parking areas in patient/visitor-ready state.

Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For Hire
  • Possess/maintain a valid, non-restricted driver’s license with a neutral or positive driver point balance.
Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For Continued Employment
  • Valid Virginia Driver’s License and acceptable driver’s record with positive points
Experience REQUIRED
  • Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Previous experience using a computer and using Microsoft Office application and e-mail/calendaring
Experience PREFERRED
  • Previous professional driving experience
  • Prior valet experience
Education/training REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED
  • Post High School coursework
  • Second language
Independent Action(s) Required
  • Must be able to work independently within established guidelines.
  • Must be able to multi task and follow directions.
Supervisory Responsibilities (if Applicable)
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the assigned valet staff, ensuring the valet operation assigned runs in a safe and efficient manner.
Additional Position Requirements
  • Required to work during inclement weather with day and evening rotations.
  • May be required to work some weekends for special events.

  • Compensation Range: $17.00 - $24.12
  • Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
