Job summary

Mercy Southeast Cancer Center in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a PRN Valet Attendant to welcome patients and visitors, assist with vehicle parking and retrieval, and help create a caring, smooth experience at the facility.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication and customer service skills. Shifts are Mon and Wed 7:45am–2:00pm with flexibility to cover other days.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience starting, driving, and parking different types and sizes of vehicles
• Read, write, and speak English
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and offer assistance as needed
• Park and retrieve vehicles to ensure a seamless experience
• Maintain safety and order around the valet area
• Provide courteous, prompt service and communicate clearly

Our Valet Attendants are responsible for welcoming all individuals entering and leaving the facility. This role requires offering assistance as needed, ensuring a seamless experience by parking and retrieving vehicles for patients and visitors. This role plays a crucial part in fostering a supportive and comforting environment for those accessing our services. Shift: PRN (Mon & Wed 7:45am - 2:00pm) with flexibility to work other days. Other shift 7:00am - 3:30pm).

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure:

• Valid driver’s license

Skills, Knowledge Abilities:

• Must have experience in starting, driving, and parking different types and sizes of vehicles
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
