JOB SUMMARY
The Valet Attendant at Caravan Court is responsible for providing a warm, polished, and professional first and last impression to every guest. Valet attendants safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while delivering a personalized service aligned with the hotels service standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
- Operational Responsibilities
- o Greet guests according hotel standards
- o Register all vehicles in parking platform
- o Communicate the valet process to the guest
- o Assist guests with any luggage and directional needs
- o Professionally and efficiently park guest vehicles
- Guest Services
- o Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions
- o Be proactive when attending to guests
- o Assist guests with all concierge services
- Team Support and Training
- o Attend and contribute to department meetings
- o Participate in cross training
- o Complete all required trainings
- Communication and Reporting
- o Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly
- o Run all reports necessary to the operation
- o Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists
- o Log all work in appropriate platforms
- Safety & Compliance
- o Adhere to all safety and security guidelines
- o Follow all driving regulations
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- · Strong verbal and written communication skills
- · Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- · Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail
- · Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
Physical Requirements
- · Sitting: Short periods of time
- · Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours
- · Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 50 pounds. Pushing/ Pulling carts
Working Environment
- · Interior: Hallways, Guestrooms
- · Exterior: Outdoor areas of the hotel
BASICS
- · Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
- · Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
- · Report any unsafe conditions immediately
- · Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
- · Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- o Valid Driver’s License
- o No vehicle violations within the past 5 years
- o No prior experience required
- o No minimum education requirements required
