Job description

Description
  • Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
  • Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking area.
  • Collect and accurately label guests' keys to ensure proper return.
  • Park guests' vehicles in designated areas within the parking lot, following traffic laws.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby, front door, bell stand, and luggage room.
  • Promote the hotel’s amenities when assisting guests.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation options.
  • Read the logbook daily.
  • Stay updated on in-house groups and events.
  • Issue luggage tags, store bags properly, and cross-reference when issuing.
  • Keep vehicle maintenance records accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure deliveries and luggage are brought to the correct rooms.
  • Display readiness to assist (“Posts up”).
  • Handle guest luggage and needs promptly during peak periods.
  • Assist in maintaining the bell closet and carts.
  • Work systematically to prevent luggage loss.
  • Operate bell carts carefully to avoid damage or injury.
  • Deliver guest valet laundry promptly.
  • Provide accurate directions and information about the local and metro areas.
  • Report tips daily.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be company-driven.
  • Know and follow all emergency procedures thoroughly.
  • Complete all checklists and responsibilities by the end of each shift.
