Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
  2. Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking area.
  3. Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
  4. Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws.
  5. Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
  6. Maintain lobby, front door, bell stand, and luggage room cleanliness and order.
  7. Market the entire hotel when rooming a guest.
  8. Maintain complete knowledge of hotel amenities and layout, local attractions, and airport transportation.
  9. Read log book daily.
  10. Keep up-to-date on in-house groups and functions.
  11. Issue proper luggage tags, store bags properly, and cross-reference when issuing.
  12. Maintain vehicle maintenance records properly.
  13. Ensure deliveries/luggage are brought to correct rooms.
  14. Demonstrate readiness to help.
  15. Facilitate prompt handling of guest luggage and needs during peak periods.
  16. Assist in the maintenance upkeep of the bell closet and carts.
  17. Work systematically to avoid losing luggage.
  18. Operate bell carts with care to avoid damaging property or causing injury.
  19. Deliver guest valet laundry promptly.
  20. Able to accurately give directions and information regarding the immediate and metro areas.
  21. Report tips daily.
  22. Be a positive thinker and company driven.
  23. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  24. Ensure that all checklists and responsibilities are completed by the end of the shift.

Pay: $11.00-$13.20/hour + tips
