Job summary

Troon International in Palm Desert, CA seeks a valet attendant to greet guests and provide expedited parking and car retrieval upon arrival and departure. You will assist guests entering and exiting vehicles and ensure keys stay attached to tickets, with safety and courtesy at all times.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent). A reliable, punctual team member with strong English communication is essential in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • Able to read and speak English to communicate with customers and co-workers.
  • Able to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

  • Greets members and guests and provides expedited parking and car retrieval services upon arrival and departure.
  • Greets members and guests promptly and courteously upon their arrival and departure.
  • Distributes claim tickets and ensures the tickets are returned when the guest retrieves their vehicle.
  • Assists guest when entering and exiting their vehicles.
  • Ensures claim tickets are attached to keys and accounted for at all times.
  • Operates vehicles with safety at all times by observing speed limits.
  • Returns all cars to owners in the same condition as taken.
  • Follows valet station guidelines for setup and breakdown of the valet station.
  • Provides direction and information regarding facilities.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Ensures claim tickets are attached to keys when in the property’s possession and accounted for at all times.
  • Operates vehicles with safety at all times by using extreme caution when driving in the parking lots and observing all speed limits.
  • Returns all cars to their owners in the same manner and condition they were taken.
  • Follows the valet station guidelines for setting up and breaking down of valet station.
  • Provides direction and information regarding property’s facilities.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes and smells. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.

Frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works near fumes. Occasionally experiences vibration. Noise level is moderate.
