Job summary

Hilton Woodland Hills / Los Angeles is seeking a friendly valet attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, and park and retrieve vehicles in a fast-paced hotel environment. The role requires physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items throughout shifts while maintaining a courteous demeanor.

You will respond to guest inquiries, manage valet tickets, and ensure accurate information is provided about hotel services.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly welcome.
• Retrieve guest items from cars and transport luggage via bell cart.
• Read and match valet tickets and issue claims.
• Organize and store luggage in designated areas.
• Drive, park, and return guest vehicles, including manual shifts.
• Answer guest inquiries with a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Answer the Valet phone and provide information as needed.

Job description

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Remain calm and attentive, especially during heavy hotel activity and emergencies.
• Retrieve guest items from cars, busses, vans and carts. Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages onto a bell cart to transport items throughout hotel to designated room. Requires physical stamina to stand, lift, carry and run at a fast pace, intermittently for duration of shift.
• Read and match valet tickets, write claim tickets and detach portion to give to guest.
• Organize and store luggage as necessary in a designated area.
• Drive, park and return various types of vehicles, belong to guests (including manual shift).
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, air line shuttle service, etc.
• Answer the Valet phone and provide information as needed.
