Job description

The Valet Parking Attendant provides professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services.

Pay: $17.53 per hour. The listed pay is the hourly rate for this position. The actual offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, location, and market data.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to operate both standard and automatic transmissions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic flow
• Communicate valet procedures, information, and directions clearly with guests
• Respond appropriately to customer and team member inquiries
• Monitor illegal parking and store vehicles immediately
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner
• Assist guests with loading and unloading
• Collect and secure guest keys
• Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
• Arrange for support during extended wait times
• Accurately tally and split tips
• Receive and record various payments
• Reconcile and report daily revenue
• Manage currency and coin needs
• Operate, park, and retrieve vehicles safely, obeying traffic laws and policies
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Maintain a clean work area

This role is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
