Atakapa Services, LLC, a Waggoner Company, is hiring a Vac Truck Operator for our Birmingham, AL area operations. You will operate and maintain vacuum trucks to safely remove industrial waste, liquids, sludge, and other materials.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements, prior vacuum truck experience, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with endorsements.
• Proven experience operating vacuum trucks or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vacuum trucks to safely collect, transport, and dispose of industrial waste, liquids, sludge, and other materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and document activities.
• Coordinate with team, supervisors, and clients to complete tasks and respond to issues.
