Applicants must have 1 year experience behind an 18-wheeler, a valid Class A/B CDL with Tanker Endorsement, and be able to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year’s experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Tanker Endorsement required.
• NO AUTO restrictions; must be able to drive manual transmission.
• Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass a personal background screen.
• Must pass an MVR background screen.
• Commercial Driver – Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator operates under FMCSA 70-hour rule.
• Willing to travel for extended periods.
• Willing to respond to emergency calls 24/7.
• Willing to perform all duties per training and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up all necessary equipment per training, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including PPE.
• Work safely around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous environments.
• Manually clean, install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and other equipment.
• Assist in general maintenance of company equipment and grease jobs.
• Wash and clean equipment – pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping – sweeping floors and removing trash.
• Return equipment and PPE to designated areas after job loads.

Summary/Objective:

The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
• Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
• Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
• Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
• Wash and clean company equipment – Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
• Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years’ experience required behind an 18-wheeler.
• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must have a Tanker Endorsement.
• Must have NO AUTO restrictions. Must be capable of legally driving manual transmission.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card or be able to obtain one.
• Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
• Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
• Commercial Driver - Pneumatic/Vacuum Operator runs under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
• Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
• Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
• Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Willing to understand and follow all given directions.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
• Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Physically capable of working in all inclement weather conditions.
