Job summary

Rentix Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related heavy equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, high-quality service.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, service diesel engines and pumps, and complete work orders. A strong safety culture and quality workmanship are expected in daily duties.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanical experience is preferred.
• Experience as a diesel, heavy truck, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read technical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Vacuum truck repair experience is a plus; training is available for the right candidate.
• Certified Diesel Mechanic credentials preferred.
• CDL preferred. Candidates without a CDL at the time of hire will be helped obtaining one.
• Must provide standard hand tools up to 1½ inches. Specialty and oversized tools are provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Service diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Complete work orders and process parts requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
